ELEGANT STITCH RETREATS

October 24, 25 & 26, 2008   - Berry Thief  in Modesto, California

these are the preliminary pictures for our october retreat.  there is much more to this piece.  there will be a little sampler filled with berries that rolls up and fits into the birdseye maple, orleans box that is pictured.  the collection will include a sampler roll, tape measure, berry needlebook, beaded berry pincushion, button bag, berry pins, penny rug as a resting place for your carrier and the cutest wool birdie you have ever seen.  it is all stitched on 28 and 32 count sandstone with hand-dyed silk fibers and the liberty of london william morris fabric to line the maple carrier.  this lining fabric is now being produced in limited runs and is very, very expensive at 100 pounds per meter,  thus we are definitely limited to the number of class participants we can accommodate, not only by price but by availability.

we are very, very excited about this piece - with all the goodies and fun that we shall have.  we hope you will join jackie and i in modesto in the fall.  we have made arrangements with the facility we used in april for petite trianon and we have been guaranteed use of it in october and april for as long as we do retreats here in modesto.  it truly is a beautiful facility and just perfect for our every need.  come join us for all in the central valley...we'd love to introduce you to our very special "berry thief"...  the registration form is right at the link.
