am going to try and get some of this in before the computer
explodes again - you are an impatient bunch out there :) it took me almost
an hour to get into this...so don't blow me up until i'm finished - at least for
today :)
the first thing i have to say is that i am so very, very glad
that i went!!! not even a question about that. we had an easy trip
- we had an easy trip coming home - everybody was kind and gracious and
generous to a fault and i have to say - i've got some great friends in this
business - and business and friendships can mix and be wonderful and it's all in
how it's handled.
we were picked up at the airport on thursday night by a dear,
dear friend - one of the truly kindest men i have ever met - and i was dreading
a shuttle because i had two fifty pound bins and 3 suitcases...and he dropped us
at the airport yesterday except this time i had 2 bins and 4 suitcases and he
never even blinked (thank god the scale at the nashville airport was broken - i
think a scale fairie was watching out over us)...easy trip home - everything
arrived safe and sound and i have some incredibly wonderful friends in this
business - i truly do.
now...before this blows up again...quickly...here we go and
i'll get the rest up in the morning when it's a little calmer - and there is no
particular order to any of this - it is scattered all over this back room and it
is "what's the closest grab" at the moment :)

threadgatherer silk threads...of course we do - we come home with all of that
automatically. so don't hesitate to ask.
more tomorrow from it's fineally finished in collaboration
with the threadgatherers, some just nan that came while we were at market and
who knows what else... we have a few of the petite sampler etuis
left...although not many and we will busy shoveling bins and boxes and product
around for at least a week :) but, i will be back tomorrow with a quick
update of more things. i'm starving, i'm cold, i've managed to burn a bag
of microwave popcorn so the entire backroom smells like dead something...so i'm
heading home and doing some laundry, petting the good smelling pups because they
went to the beauty parlor today and their daddy picked them up and i want to
finish my "star" bag and possibly do some work on a bracelet that i am
making for a young lady i know in tucson - but she doesn't know it...it's a
ducky secret.
enjoy - we'll be back in the morning...and we're waiting for
more rain and big snow in the sierras... market was a blast and i'm glad
to be home in my shop with all our new treasures...and a zillion wonderful
things to play with...and don't forget to go to the what's
new - because there are market releases there too - that were the pre-orders
from before market actually happened.
